Stainless steel – spring steel

301L-LT

Mechanical properties: The suitable cold working method has low strength, good flatness and large elongation after rolling.

Applicable welding methods: arc welding heating has no effect on its mechanical properties, so both spot welding and arc welding can be applied. Applicable cold processing methods: stamping, stretch bending and bending processing of parts with low strength requirements

301L-DLT

Mechanical properties: low strength, secondary rolling rate is controlled within the range of 3% to 8%, small residual stress, small creep at room temperature, and good surface flatness can be maintained.

Applicable welding methods: Arc welding heating does not have much impact on its mechanical properties, so spot welding and arc welding are both acceptable.

Cold working methods used: bending and drawing of parts with lower strength, especially those that do not use a flattening machine for rolling.

301L-ST

Mechanical properties: Moderate strength, secondary rolling rate is controlled within the range of 6% ~ 12%, and the surface flatness after rolling is good.

Applicable welding methods: The strength of the material does not decrease significantly after heating, so spot welding is the main method, and electromagnetic welding can be used.

Applicable cold working methods: Suitable for stretch bending or bending of parts with higher strength requirements and then bending.

301L-MT

Mechanical properties: The secondary rolling rate is controlled within the range of 9% ~ 17%, the strength is higher, but the elongation is very low.

Applicable welding methods: The strength drops significantly after being heated. Try to avoid using arc welding and use spot welding. Applicable cold processing methods: Suitable for bending and pressing of long-length components such as complex cross-section panels that require high strength.

301L-HT

Mechanical properties: The secondary rolling rate is controlled within the range of 20% ~ 23%, with the highest strength but the lowest elongation. Applicable welding method: The strength suddenly drops after heating. Try to avoid arc welding and use spot welding. Applicable cold working methods: Suitable for the cold bending process of high-strength, complex-section beam-like full-length parts.
