Mechanical properties

1. Heat treatment process
The solution treatment temperature of 304 antibacterial stainless steel pipe is 1080-1100℃, and the cooling method is water cooling or air cooling. The intermediate annealing temperature of cold working is usually between 850-970°C, and it is water-cooled after being kept warm for a certain period of time. The structure of steel after solution treatment is austenite, and sometimes a small amount of ferrite is also present.

304 antibacterial stainless steel pipe inhibits carbide precipitation during welding and can be welded using general methods. For manual arc welding, Austrian 002 electrodes can be used for thin-section 304 stainless steel containing 0.04%-0.06% carbon. The intergranular corrosion tendency will not occur after welding. For thick-section rulers, it is necessary to maintain the intergranular corrosion resistance after welding. Post-weld heat treatment is performed. If no heat treatment is performed, it should be changed to 304L antibacterial stainless steel or stabilized austenitic antibacterial stainless steel.
3. Cold forming performance
304 antibacterial stainless steel sheets are often used in cold forming operations during the application process. Its cold forming performance is an important technical indicator to measure whether it can be formed smoothly and the yield rate is high. There are many factors that affect the cold forming of 304 antibacterial stainless steel, and they are also very complex. As far as its metallurgical factors are concerned, it is mainly the composition of steel, that is, the ratio of chromium equivalents and nickel equivalents. The elongation in its conventional tensile properties is an important characterization index. In order to obtain good cold forming properties, the ratio of chromium equivalents and nickel equivalents in the steel should be controlled within an appropriate range.
4. Application
Widely used in food, general chemical industry, atomic energy industry device components and equipment, etc.; deep-drawn parts, acid pipelines, containers, etc.; vehicles, auto parts and household appliances; used in the production of thin-walled parts, acid pipelines and structural parts; also It is often used for welding chromium-nickel antibacterial stainless steel and core materials of antibacterial stainless steel, non-magnetic parts and parts used in low temperature environments.
