From a corrosion standpoint it shares many of the properties of Type C and G HASTELLOY materials, especially resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion. Its mechanical and welding properties are closer to HASTELLOY alloys than to STELLITE alloys, where their low ductility can be problematic.
